The centre also provides a venue where community events and gatherings may be held.

 – Brad Duguid

"Our community centre represents the heart of our community in good and difficult times. These much needed renovations will strengthen the bonds between all our citizens. The young people who are the future of our community will gain much from the services provided and the strong sense of belonging that comes with the gatherings and events we are able to host here."
