Pack-Smart Inc.'s ambitious growth plans include expanding its current workforce of 25 to in excess of 100 over the next five years. Ontario is providing $790,000 to support the company's $7.9-million expansion project.
The company designs and manufactures machines and complete automated systems for the packaging and printing industry.
Pack-Smart has developed pioneering, electronically geared technology that has the flexibility to handle a variety of different packing and assembly tasks. The new machines will enable the company's customers to cut processing times, use new eco friendly plastics and adhesives and save raw materials, while improving package appearance.
