McGuinty Government Invites Festivals And Events To Apply For Funding

Ontario is continuing to support festivals and events that create jobs, attract tourists and boost local economies across the province.

Whether brand new or returning for another great year, festivals and events across the province are invited to apply to Celebrate Ontario 2010. The deadline for applications is November 27, 2009 and full application details can be found on the Ministry of Tourism's website at: www.ontario.ca/celebrateontario.

This year, Celebrate Ontario 2010 returns with $11 million available to help festivals and events of all sizes reach new audiences and invigorate local economies.
